More About Alysa

Alysa is a bit of a master of all trades.  She’s got a lot of interests and is relentless in learning all she can when something draws her attention.

Alysa is an artist.  She’s a dancer, actor, singer, photographer, digital artist, and unpublished writer.

Alysa loves sunshine and will only use sunscreen for prolonged periods outside.

Alysa has three beautiful children – two girls and a boy.

Alysa has an engineering degree from Johns Hopkins University but has never worked as an engineer.  Alysa has worked in investment banking in Mergers & Acquisitions back in the heyday of the technology boom.  She was sickened by how much money was passed around among the big players in the industry.

Alysa is happily (mostly) vegan, and has been for almost 10 years, as well as her kids and dog! Join her little Facebook page, Planet Compassion!

Alysa drinks hardly anything except water – that is the gift of life!

Alysa recently discovered Pickleball thanks to Paloma and is thoroughly addicted!

Alysa loves musicals and still performs on occasion.

Alysa built a new amazing contemporary home and learned an immense amount about construction.  She implemented many green features into her new home and loves sharing advice about green choices, detoxifying one’s life, and lessening one’s impact on the planet.

Alysa loves attempting, and often succeeding, to fix old electronics when they break. Buy less, reuse and recycle more!

Alysa loves to scuba dive and thankfully so does her family. Everyone is a certified diver!

Alysa has remembered the key to the universe.  This is our creation and playground.

Alysa has loved 7 Great Danes or English Mastiffs.  She rescued 5 of them and loved having those big amazing dogs in her life. Currently Alysa is the human mama to Hodor, who you can follow on Instagram @hodorthemastiff.

Alysa believes in buying organic, supporting local farmers, regenerative farming, and wishes one day to have her own farm/ranch.  Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFO) and the poor treatment of animals in this world make Alysa cry.

Alysa loves theoretical physics.

Alysa wishes she had more time to cook, garden, play pickleball, sew, do crossstich, and make photo albums and home videos.

Alysa is in love with life.
